Responsibilities

The Chairpersons Communication Board is not an official advisory board to the City Council. Chairpersons from each active board meet on a quarterly basis to share information about what their respective commission or board has recently accomplished or what they are currently working on.  The staff member coordinates a guest speaker to present a current topic. 

The City’s Communication Manager is the staff liaison and takes notes (not official meeting minutes) of the reports to share with City Council, City Staff, and all Boards and Commissions members. These are maintained on the city website for the public to view.
