Parks
The City of Anoka provides many park facilities with a variety of amenities. We are committed to providing clean, safe, and fun parks for everyone to enjoy. Anoka maintains 34 park locations and approximately 8 miles of off street trails throughout the parks. Parks are open to the public from 6 am to 11 pm.
The best thing about Anoka’s parks, is that no two are the same. Each park offers users a unique experience whether it is a serene interaction with nature or with the hustle and bustle of kids at an athletic complex. About half of the parks contain amenities such as playgrounds, picnic tables/grills, benches and picnic shelters. Some parks have fully enclosed buildings, public restrooms, and access to water/electricity.
The city’s parks are a great place to hold family events, social gatherings, company picnics and even weddings!
